Lauren Ayo spent most of her youth in Orlando, Florida and started dancing at the age of two. She was very shy and surprisingly found comfort in Musical Theatre at the age of ten. When Lauren was fourteen, she moved to Bentonville, Arkansas and graduated from Bentonville High School. Freshman year, she took ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop at Aspire Dance where she met and danced with Ms. Laine Harper. Sophmore year, she was on the Bentonville High School dance team. That same year, Ms. Laine opened Kaleidoscope Dance Academy and Lauren became a part of the first competition Krew where she danced for three years.
After graduating, Lauren moved back to Orlando, Florida to attend college and live her dream of working in entertainment. She studied Performing Arts at Valencia College and worked in entertainment at Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando for six years. Some of her work can be seen in the televised Walt Disney World Christmas Parade, Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando, and other venues around Central Florida.
Lauren moved back to Bentonville with her husband and son in August 2016 after receiving a job offer to work in Information Technology. With twenty-three years of dance experience, she is very excited to teach this year!
